The De Anza Force is proud to offer our membership the complete spectrum of regional and national youth soccer competition platforms available in the U.S. Our competition platform options allow our players a pathway to grow, both in soccer and in life, at every ability level and development milestone, from recreational soccer to our elite college soccer preparatory programs.

ECNL GIRLS

The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) platform represents the highest level of youth soccer development available to female athletes in the world. Through ECNL Girls, Force players get the opportunity to compete against the top girls clubs in the U.S., the best of the best! ECNL Girls is an integral part of the Force college program, giving our players consistent exposure to college coaches and guidance in the college recruitment process. De Anza Force was honored to be a founding member club in 2009, and is proud to continue today to further the ECNL mission to “Raise the Game” by elevating standards and experience in all aspects of youth soccer.

  • Force has ECNL Girls teams in the U13 - U19 age groups
  • The 2020 - 2021 ECNL Girls program contains 113 member clubs in the U.S. across 9 regional conferences
  • ECNL Girls players are allowed to play High School Soccer
  • ECNL Girls teams are allowed to play in the NorCal regional leagues and participate in State Cup to supplement ECNL conference games
  • Force has won two ECNL Girls National Championships in the U17 and U14 age groups
  • The Force ECNL Girls program has a 99% college recruitment success history for our Senior players

ECNL GIRLS REGIONAL LEAGUE

The ECNL Girls Regional League platform was developed to allow improved coordination and collaboration between teams of different levels within the same ECNL club. The ECNL Girls Regional League provides more opportunity for teams and players at Force to develop through regular high level competition.

Key Highlights

  • The 2020-2021 season will feature 12 leagues, 4 of which are licensed leagues participating in regional competition 
  • Each ECNL Girls Regional League is structured slightly differently, reflecting the unique needs and desires of the participating clubs, geography, and more
  • ECNL Girls Regional Leagues are operated and managed by the ECNL Girls to ensure a consistent environment and level of professionalism across all leagues

NATIONAL PREMIER LEAGUE

The National Premier Leagues (NPL) is a national competition platform for boys and girls that contains 19 member leagues across the U.S. The De Anza Force has been a proud member club in the NorCal Premier NPL League since its inception. NPL member clubs must meet competition, technical/coaching, administrative, disciplinary, and player production standards over several years of NorCal membership.

  • Force has NPL teams in each of its U14 through U19 age groups
  • NPL is a promotion and relegation-based league with multiple levels of competition allowing for consistent, meaningful high-level games
  • The competition platform is structured to provide an opportunity for a national championship
  • Force NPL players attend showcase tournaments for identification and recruitment by college coaches
  • NorCal has Pre-NPL for the U-12 and U13 ages groups which is intended to bridge the gap between regionally-based leagues in younger age groups, and statewide competition in U14-U19 age groups.

NORCAL PREMIER

De Anza Force is a proud member of the NorCal Premier competitive soccer league which serves a large area of the Northern California peninsula from Salinas to Mendocino, the Stockton and Sacramento interior region, and as far east as the Lake Tahoe and Reno. The mission of NorCal Premier is to elevate soccer by developing players, clubs, coaches, and referees. They accomplish this by offering the complete spectrum of competition levels for every age group from 4v4 U8 all the way to U19 men and women.

Key Highlights

  • Force has boys and girls NorCal Premier competitive teams in every age group from U8 to U19
  • There are 9 regions total in NorCal Premier, representing almost 300 clubs
  • Force competes in Region 2, one of the largest and most competitive regions, which stretches from Salinas to San Francisco
  • Region 2 is often split into a North and South division
  • NorCal Premier runs the State Cup, a large regional tournament played over the course of each year. NorCal State Cup draws teams from all 9 regions competing for unified championships, in multiple divisions based on a team ranking system.
